Summer Reminders
Hello again Parents and girls,
I have a few things I need you all to know, so hold tight for a long email.
First, we are having a sizing problem with the sleeves. These are the white long sleeves that go under the uniforms. On some of the girls they are 3/4 length and should go to the wrist bone. Please have your daughter try hers on, and if it doesn't fit, give it to Ms. Thompson at the school, with a sticky note on it with her name and how many more inches she needs to make the sleeve long enough. It must be in it's original package or you will need to buy new sleeves. They are about $20 each, and to return them, they're like anything else and must come with their package. This is just a small problem, but I need to send them back to the company right away to get the correct sizes. I am just glad the problem is with the sleeves and not the uniforms. The girl's uniforms all looked like they fit very well to me, and have a clean and professional look. They are also progressing well on the camp dance and are working very hard. We're excited for all the parents and other teams to see it at camp!
Next item of business; the fundraiser for Costa Vida is almost over. Please bring your money to the first summer practice, or give it directly to Karen Bouchard, Jessica's mom. Remember you were to each sell 5 cards at least, and you need to give a minimum of $75 to Karen for the cards. I hope this fundraiser was successful and not a huge stress. Please bring extra unsold cards to me or Karen as well.
The first day of summer practice is June 8th from 1:30-3:30. Please be on time, bring your poms, have hair pulled back out of your face (including bangs), and bring shoes for stunting. Practices will be every Tues and Thurs in June until Camp on June 28th. I NEED TO KNOW AHEAD OF TIME BEFORE YOU HAVE TO MISS A DAY OF PRACTICE. So far, I only know of Maren and Emma having to miss days in June. Please let me know if you are missing other days. Remember you are only allowed to miss one day in June. I am sorry if it seems like I repeat myself a lot, but some of the things I've been asking as a coach are still not happening, and I don't want the girls to be penalized for "not knowing," about a rule.
Also, I've made a small mistake and given some of the girl's their uniforms and things when their money is not paid. Please know that the last payment is due on June 11th because I must pay UCA. I know it is sometimes hard to come up with all this money at once, but everyone was told before hand how much cheer would be and if I do not pay on time, your daughter will be the one left out from camp. They are very strict with their deadlines, AND MONEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 11TH. PLEASE DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO TO HAVE ALL $800 PAID BEFORE THEN. Your daughter will also not receive the rest of her uniform until all money is paid. Thanks for being understanding on this. I'm just trying to get everyone and everything paid on time for your girls.
Just as a side note, I will be there to announce the new cheer squad at the end of year assembly. They haven't told me a time, and I think your daughters just come up to the front, but if you want to be there, feel free. Thanks for all your support.

Cheer Practice
Hi Girls...

-NO long finger nails or fake nails
-Hair must be pulled back, out of your face and eyes every practice
-Bring your pom pons EVERY TIME
-Please wear appropriate attire (no spaghetti straps, cleavage, etc.)
Thanks for being so great at the safety clinic today. You work well as a TEAM and it's fun to watch you all improve so quickly! Please remember these rules so I don't have to start using the point system. I really would just rather have everyone remember what they're supposed to do than have to give points!
